Is Compassionate (Nonviolent) Communication for me?

Obviously, without meeting you, I cannot know whether what I have to offer is what you are currently needing.

So I am imagining that you need some more information to decide whether to take the next step of contacting me...

My starting point is that I am not a counsellor or even a teacher - I am a facilitator that can help people who want to feel more at peace with themselves and who want to find alternatives to their current pattern of reacting to certain behaviours/people - to neither give in to others nor try to control others' behaviour but to find a new and fresh way of responding that allows you to feel more at peace with yourself - even when that includes deep sadness and mourning of what could be.

"Use small and slow solutions"
Often, this change from old to new starts with acknowledging your 'right' to be fully authentically you.
It may be that the recovery of yourself needs to happen slowly - at your own unique pace.

I can work one-to-one with you, together with another or in a small group

Do contact me if you would like to talk through what you are wanting to see if I am the right person to help you.

Some of the reasons people want to get in touch with their inherent compassionate nature:

For self-confidence and self-acceptance:
  • To learn to be more compassionate towards myself
  • To allow my full authentic self to be expressed
  • To free up all the energy that is wasted in living with untransformed internal thoughts of 'shoulds', 'ought tos', blame and judgements.
  • To get better at asking for help

For creativity and meaning:
  • To free up my creativity
  • To bring more meaning to my life
  • To fulfil my inherent nature that is to give to others
  • To increase my ability to choose rather than react

For more fulfilling relationships:
  • Have greater ability to build connections and intimacy with loved ones
  • Learn how to give and receive empathy
  • Find solutions that work for both myself and the other(s)

  • To find more effective ways to communicate - ways that bring connection and mutual understanding
  • To discover the joy of loving and being loved.
  •  discover greater, more meaningful intimacy with people I love

For my children:
  • Find solutions that work for both myself and the other(s)
  • To not pass on my ineffective communication patterns to my children.
  • To contribute to my children thriving

For decision-making:
  • To be supported to make a clear decision about my next step.
