Couples Relationship Retreat
27 Feb - 2 Mar 2014

Picture
Come and spend three days with your partner, nurturing your relationship in a supported, loving environment.

Explore what gets in the way of, and what enhances, greater connection and intimacy between you.

In our culture we tend to keep our relationship struggles to ourselves. And if we do attempt to share them with our friends it can lead to misplaced advice-giving or mutual 'partner-bashing’!

As a couple, we have had our fair share of struggles, yet discovered deep strength by being supported in a safe and accepting environment to share and be heard: disconnection and judgments are transformed into understanding and closeness.

Through many years of learning and (Penny) teaching Nonviolent Communication, we are now offering this support to three couples where we aim to co-create an environment of trust, acceptance, openness and not forgetting fun!

As the retreat is limited to three couples we suggest booking early if you want to be sure of a place.

Accommodation:
We will be staying in a beautiful two hundred year old converted (to 5 star standards) stone 'eco' barn set above the Wye Valley - with wonderful views - each couple will have a double bed (2 rooms have en suites - first couples to book, get first choice!). There is a wood-burner for extra coziness.
For more info on the venue - please check out this website:  Woodridge Barn

There is an opportunity for couples to stay on an extra night at a nominal extra cost. Make the most of the opportunity and explore the natural local countryside! Please indicate on booking form if you are interested in this.

Food:
We will provide breakfasts, lunches, teas and coffees.
We ask that each couple provides one of the evening meals and that the couple together cooks the meal for that evening. We have experienced this to be an enjoyable opportunity for creating together (as well as the possibility of this being a challenge that can be supported by us if needed). We ask that all food be vegetarian.
